As mentioned previously, Texas Department of Vaccine Services will begin allocating vaccine to providers who can vaccinate at least 100,000 people.

Locally, the City of San Antonio will turn the Alamodome into a vaccination clinic. They will receive 9,000 doses of vaccine next week. They will begin taking registration THIS MORNING AT 0900.

While the general public will probably not receive vaccine until the spring,
at the end of the day, literally, any provider with extra doses can administer them to any willing person regardless of their priority designation so vaccine won’t be wasted.
If you have an elderly friend or relative, please help them schedule their vaccination as this may be too difficult for them to navigate on their own.
